You wait and wait for that moment when he asks you, and if you are anything like me than you pretty much know what kind of wedding you want. So, why is it after the engagement you feel totally lost or overwhelmed by the reality of actually planning a wedding? One thing is for sure there is no shortage of resources out there. Whether it is websites, magazines, TV shows, or books there are plenty wedding sources out there. Ahh sensory overload!! How do you pick the ones which will be the most useful to you? I started with theknot.com, which was the site my Fiance’s cousin used. I was impressed with how thorough their site is, along with the million ideas, wedding gowns, wedding rings, helpful planning tools. I have also come across a few other copycat sites like, weddingchannel.com, bride.com, ultimatewedding.com, andweddingsolutions.com. A very useful one to help narrow down your planning to your local resources is mywedding.com. You can click on your city to help search venues, and vendors to help with decorations, wedding invitations, party favors, food etc…
Just a few sites to help with my planning!
